CSO - Company Security Officer
STCW courses in Maritime Security are training programs designed to provide maritime industry professionals with the skills necessary to address security threats at sea. These courses are required by the STCW regulation and focus on various aspects related to the overall safety of maritime operations, both onboard and in ports.
The course lasts 24 hours spread over 3 days with the aim of providing adequate knowledge of the topics related to the ISPS Code for the assumption of the role of Company Security Officer, as defined in sections A/2.1.7 and A/11 of the ISPS Code.
