Familiarization with Port Security (IMO MODEL COURSE 3.25)
The STCW courses in Maritime Security are training programs designed to provide maritime industry professionals with the skills necessary to address security threats at sea. These courses are required by the STCW regulation and focus on various aspects related to the overall safety of maritime operations, both on board and in ports.
The course lasts 4 hours for all other personnel employed in the port facility or port, for whom the need for adequate training is provided for in the port and port facility safety plans.
The program is specifically developed for those who carry out typical maritime security tasks in port areas according to the National Maritime Security Plan (PNSM). During the course, you will learn current regulations, security procedures, and best practices for risk management within the port.
